John Francis is the founder of PlanetWalker and he walked for 22 years and was silent for 17 years. Planetwalk’s core mission is the development and coordination of a global network of Planetwalkers. Planetwalk will sponsor walks nationally and internationally with the purpose of promoting environmental education and responsibility and a vision of world peace and co’operation. He has written a nook, has two degrees, and a PHD in oil spills, a company Planet walker, and now works for National Geographic.
