Join the Art revolution and sign up for a ‘Sea Creature’ workshop special with Immortal Bloom.
Create your own recycled deep-sea masterpiece in one of Immortal Bloom’s accessible workshops.
Yorkshire-based eco-artists, Rachel Rea and Anzir Boodoo, will guide you through the many uses of waste materials and in making ocean themed puppets and decor. Engage in conversations about climate and the natural wonders of ocean ecosystems and discover brilliant ideas about design and circularity. Whilst designing chat about climate and discover more about the brilliance of PET short for ‘polyethylene terephthalate’.
Sign up now for this FREE workshop and let your imagination soar as you bring mesmerizing sea creatures to life, from sea dragons to coral reefs. Add your artwork to our collective ocean installation with participants from across the city.
Come back and collect your creation as a keepsake on November 3rd or we can recycle it when you’re done ( completing the circularity).
Don’t worry if you are not a workshop person, as you can still contribute to the installation throughout the week, just drop it in.
When is it? Saturday 28th Oct 2-4pm. Monday 30th Oct and Wednesday 1st Nov 11-1 pm and 2-4pm
How do I book ? Click the Eventbrite Link here for workshops, or simply pop in 11-5pm through the week to add your creature to the collective ocean installation we will be making through the week.
Who is it for? All ages. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Where does it take place? Located in the heart of the city at Imagine Leeds , on the 7th floor at City Exchange, Albion Street (between H&M Home and Wasabi).
